BKBM investigated several options, such as signalized intersection, multiple turn lane intersection, and a roundabout intersection. After review and discussion with the City Engineer, the roundabout design was deemed the best option.
BKBM designed the roundabout using Wisconsin DOT guidelines at the intersection of Stageline Road and the new site entry. The skewed layout of Stageline Road and the limited right-of-way presented some design challenges for BKBM to solve.
